Terms of use

Last updated: November 2026. By using HOD Calc, you accept the terms below.

1. A free service, provided as is

HOD Calc offers free calculators, examples and guides. The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We may change, suspend or remove any tool at any time.

2. Results are estimates

Results are estimates based on the values you enter and on simplified formulas or scales. They may differ from real amounts (payslip, tax notice, loan offer, notarial deed, medical diagnosis…). They never replace professional advice or official information. Scales are updated regularly but may have changed since they were last checked.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the values you enter, how you use the results and the decisions you make. Check any important result with an official source or a professional before acting.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HOD Group is not liable for any direct or indirect damage (financial loss, loss of opportunity, harm from a decision, etc.) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, or from any error, omission or outdated information. This limitation does not apply to intentional misconduct or where the law does not allow liability to be limited.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal or professional purposes. You may not disrupt it (attacks, mass automated requests), try to bypass its security, or copy the site or its content to republish it.

6. Widgets embedded on other sites

Embedding a calculator on another site is only allowed with our prior written agreement: contact us. The embedding site remains responsible for its own content. We may withdraw this option in case of abuse.

7. External links

The site may contain links or ads leading to other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

8. Reporting errors or problems

Write to calc@hod-group.com. Security issues can be reported to the same address.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.
