X% of Y = Y × X / 100. To find what percent X is of Y: X / Y × 100. The percentage change from X to Y is (Y − X) / X × 100.

How does the “Percentage calculator” tool work?

X% of Y = Y × X / 100. To find what percent X is of Y: X / Y × 100. The percentage change from X to Y is (Y − X) / X × 100.
